Things that make me shake my head #1
I will start off by saying, no I am not a fashion consultant but I know that there is definitely something wrong with this... socks and sandals..? is your name steve urkel? if it is please feel free to write on a name tag, put on a pair of suspenders, a bowtie and 46 inch glasses as well. I'm sorry I am very open to the idea of wearing whatever you like or what is comfortable for you but this really makes me shake my head... and im not sure whether to laugh or cry about it. You see a really good looking guy and all of a sudden you look down and see socks hiked up to the knees and damn addidas flip flops. OH, you were a 10 and now your a -14 in the looks department. I have a few questions for these "men" who all dress the same.. but they are not appropriate to rant about on here. Fellas... get those nike socks and sandals off your feet.

I totally agree. Two unnamed students in my afternoon CW class came to class dressed in socks to the knee, with Adidas sandals. I . . just . . .had . . .no . . .words . . .I looked around to see if anyone else in the class was going to comment, but no one did!!! The socks with sandals "trend" (and I use that term loosely), always remind me of my last trip to France. I'd frequently see all of these old school, european men, in their 70's and 80's sitting on the front step dressed in socks to the knee and sandals. But let's faced it, these old guys have lived 70/80 years and have earned the right to dress that way. But these young ones? No excuse! Take them off boys!!
ReplyDeleteAt least it's better than hoodies tucked into your pants. Also, I'm pumped to turn 80 so I can wear ugly clothes like that. Getting dressed will be like a fun game every morning, "what would look absolutely hideous today?". You just have to embrace it when you're old. But, yes, socks and sandals are just awful.
